9 levels of security are provided and access is controlled by Windows NT-style logon with group access codes. The varying levels of access granted allow FTOs to view pending reports of others within their 'group', Field Supervisors to view all pending reports for their beats, Watch Commanders to view all pending reports. Administrative access may be granted to a group, such as Watch Commanders, to perform basic administrative functions such as logging off other users or changing passwords. System level functions should be restricted to those tasked with maintaining the system, such as changing groups or altering code tables
